couldn't fit all the songs on the chart while still making them recognizable hmm i think i owe an explanation don't i? and some theorizing. but only for the songs on the chart. i'm too tired for the ones that aren't on the chart. "would you be so kind?" = this song is definitely about cherrypaw's crush, PROBABLY on adderpaw since it's pretty much accepted at this point that cherry and adder are salmon's parents and it'll be surprising if they aren't. it's in the middle because it's an overall more low stakes but could still cause problems "daffodil" = the song sounds very nice that i'm disappointed to say that the only way i can interpret this song in the context of the image (oh yeah the image can uh change how the vibe of a song...quite a bit as seen in almost the entire 2nd ea album) is "featherstar crashout". although to be fair losing a child(ren) while also having the entire clan rely on you is a lot even if shadowclan isn't really going through that much else. edit: hold it forgot about the flower eye. tbh i'm not too sure about this one. eye flower bleeding is only for fresh / killing wounds. scars gained during lifetime are flesh colored (as seen in the DF project with mintcreek in it). but featherstar still has her hair when she's alive. and it's unlikely that it's still been bleeding the entire time. based on the villain map part though it's still possible that it was clawed after she started wearing her hair that way hence the flower eye in starclan. "time machine" = this is probably about goldencloud wanting to know why he and hazepelt fell out after what he thought was a good relationship. i don't think this song is completely concern-free because there are implications of hazepelt and goldencloud falling out "the last one" - a nice fluffy song about love or friendship about two very good chaotic friends. not much to say here. "beat the love" - the lyrics are NOT one that imply a healthy relationship :skull: granted. i think? this is most likely about featherstar based on what we've seen of featherstar and their interactions. granted i do think pepperkit's feelings are a bit one sided but it's definitely not a good relationship. "chickenman" - the art looks real intimidating with the wolf while the lyrics are just kind of about meeting a homeless man on the road who's actually pretty cool. in the context of ea i do think it means that salmon and adder meet at some point. i'm not sure if salmon knew her mom before she died since she seemed surprised that hazepelt knew her, but either way it's going to be a reunion whether salmonpaw is in her reincarnated form or her current form.
