Spritz is a cheerful cat who travels around the world by floating with the bubble around their head. One day, they came across a grove of fruit trees that was being destroyed by grease worms. There's no way they could let this continue, so Spritz took it upon themselves to defend the trees and stop the worms using their soap powers. ₊˚⊹ Controls ₊˚⊹ WASD or arrow keys to move Space to switch between flying and walking - when flying, you can't get hurt by the grease worms but when walking, you leave a trail of suds that helps defeat them - you can also fly over the trees Hold down the mouse to shoot bubbles Collect floating power-ups (must be flying) Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out Don't go to another tab while playing cause it will make it glitchier.
₊˚⊹ Notes ₊˚⊹ I wasn't going to enter originally but later I had the idea for this game and I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to finally make a real project and have the motivation to finish it. I got lazy at the end so the results screen is glitchy. Also it will sometimes randomly create the shield, though in the code there is only one place it can be added to the list of powerups so I don't know what's going on. To people who are going to tell me that soap is bad for plants: it's magic soap don't yell at me. ₊˚⊹ Credits ₊˚⊹ Character Design - @My_Art_Studio (also currently belongs to them) Thumbnail Font - https://www.fontspace.com/choko-milky-font-f89250 Some inspiration for the gameplay came from Terminus: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1106593202/ and the cleaning idea (not sure whether this needs to be credited but whatever) came from https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/792588693/ ₊˚⊹ Other ₊˚⊹ I guess here is as good a place as any to talk about why I haven't been sharing many games. Though probably nobody really noticed or cared cause I might not seem like the kind of scratcher to make games anyway. First of all, thinking of ideas and getting motivation is hard. And when I did think of an idea I liked for a multiplayer game, I did a lot of the coding and made a pretty complex engine, but I had to stop because the cloud variables are broken. Now, I'm working on another game and I finished almost all the coding but I need to draw levels which takes time and I usually don't feel like doing. It has 2 levels and I'll try to get it out by the time I reach 500 followers but I might not be able to do the full version.
