︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵ BANG! The sound echoed throughout the abandoned barn. The friends shook in fear, jerking their heads to stare at the barn. Thick, grey smoke began pouring in, just like lake water. The friends took hold of each other and coughed and choked. As the smoke began to clear, a silhouette of a 12-year-old girl standing inside the barn's doorway flashed before their eyes. The girl, most likely a cowgirl, tipped her giant cowboy hat over her eyes. She straightened her fur jacket, tilted her giant belt, and brushed off her oversized pants. "Howdy, boys!" she yelled out. By then, the smoke has already cleared; it was sunny and beautiful again. The friends let go of each other and gawked at the girl, who had a lasso in her hands. Was it their imagination, or behind her tilted cowboy hat, did the girl's eyes sparkle with red hot electricity? Before they could pounder on the question that lingered in the air, the cowgirl lunged at them, the chunky heels of her cowboy boots squeaking on top of the barn's floor and squishing the grass outside. The girl stopped abruptly, then tied the lasso around the three terrified boys. She smirked, whispering, "I'm sure you were warned of me. Kiddos who poke their noses where it doesn't belong don't live happily ever after." prev :: this is the 1st in the series "the cowgirl." next :: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1154500961/
