There have been 2 seperate 'stages' of Scratches (OS): The ScratchOS Template Versions and The NeW! Versions. The NeW! versions where suppost to fix the buggy, convoluted mess that was The ScratchOS Template Versions, And High Mountain was suppost to aswell, but then it became the opposite. Installation not working, turbowarp version (turbo-ver for short) has wrong X coords for menu items, a few bugs that where fixed in the turbo-ver still present in scratch release and a whole lot more. What im trying to say is, its taken a u-turn back to the older versions. So, starting with version17, there will be only ONE major release a year, that will be built on a NEW kernel. In short: -current version buggy mess -thats not good -will fix that in 17 -only 1 a year with new kernel. ----------- NOTES: - sorry for a bunch of things releasing together, i just kept forgetting to do stuff and only remembered now - only 1 version a year so i can give more time to other things and more time to make it the best possible version - A turbowarp-version was going to be a second version of each release with more features that only work with turbowarp's extensions -
