Hello there! I'm @CatPurrson3, although I sometimes use @SG-1017511 ~~~ I'd like to apply for Solemn ~~~ Future pronouns she/her, sexuality aroace (so no attraction or little to no attraction to other cats) ~~~ Would likely keep her until she's an experienced warrior, (although this is my first time applying for a kit in this rp so this may change) ~~~ 4/10 for activity, I might do two or three rps a month although I am nearing exams so late april to mid june I probably won't be as active on here ~~~ Personality In short - empathetic, introverted, logical, outspoken Empathetic - Solemn often understands how other cats are feeling and often will feel what they are feeling at the same time. However this could make it difficult to tell apart others feelings from her own, so Solemn may need time to understand how she feels herself, which doesn't come as naturally to her. Logical - Solemn has a linear way of thinking, with a natural ability for problem solving and finding the most efficient solutions, although she may struggle with more abstract concepts. For example, expressions may be harder for Solemn to understand, like so: Random Cat: *sighs* "Honestly prey has been so hard to catch since newleaf, we're stuck between a rock and a hard place..." Solemn: *mumbles* "Well if you're going to hunt in a bunch of rocks, then yeah I'd think so" Introverted - Unlike extroverted cats, Solemn doesn't gain energy from social encounters, but finds them rather draining. She may need to spend some time after a game of mossball (or hide and go seek in the nearby lavender and jasmine bushes - I have just learnt lavender is toxic to cats SOLEMN NO) alone to recharge, even if she enjoyed it. Outspoken - Solemn is not afraid to speak her mind, and feels strongly about what she believes in, willing to defend her argument - however bizarre ~~~ Added research: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ASD is a genetic disorder that you are born with, although it can be present in a child where neither parent has it. Autism often causes those who have it to think and see the world differently, but does not have to stop those who have it from living a full life. There is no cure for ASD, and everyone who has it experiences it differently as it is a spectrum. Signs of autism can appear as a young child or later in life, including: - Heightened senses, coming with high sensitivity to bright lights, loud noises or certain textures, tastes or smells - Can find it hard to understand how others feel, and lack empathy, although in some this is reversed (see empathy section in personality) - May find aspects of socialising, or communicating with others hard For Solemn, because of finding socialising hard, learns to 'mask' her autism as a young cat to try to fit in or 'be normal' - this is highly energy consuming however, and she may burnout frequently. As a warrior she may start unmasking as she finds out who she is, rather than who people want her to be, and can be herself around those she trusts deeply. Heightened senses may lead to Solemn feeling overwhelmed or uncomfortable at gatherings or clan discussions with lots of noise and conversation. Though, she may excel in hunting, which requires high attention to detail, and often excellent senses - so this may be where Solemn finds comfort ~~~ Why I want Solemn - recommended this rp and this litter to me as a place to get started, I've been meaning to get back into some warrior cats rps anyways so this is a nice opportunity for that. I've hosted some wcrps on minecraft with friends before, and I play wcue on roblox from time to time, and am fairly exp in rp
