Electron waited for the gamemakers to call their name, tail flicking. How they hated to wait. One of the few things thay hated. They perked up slightly and rose once they heard their name called. They padded into the room, and looked around as their senses were flooded with the sights and feelings of a jungle. Hundreds of trees and bushes filled the room. Noticing a bird of paradise, Electron stepped towards it, and it flew away in panic. Electron turned around, unsure of what to do, and suddenly saw a deluge of water rush towards them. Starting to move, they realized their goal. Catch the bird, and don't be caught by the water, As they moved, they thought. They weren't good at swimming, they'd need to stay ahead of the flood. Not great at climbing either, so they'd need to make sure the bird stayed close to the ground. How would they approach this? As the water roared behind them, they got an idea. The water was loud- if they moved quiet, the bird couldn't hear where they were. Dashing as quiet as possible, but quick enough towards the bird, the water lapped at their back. Catching up to the bird, it began to startle due to the coming torrent. Knowing they only had one chance, Elrectron leaped, pinning the bird. The water slowly drained away, but not before splashing them. Shaking off the water, Electron finished the bird, and set it down. As they stepped out of the verdant room, relief set in that they did it, but apprehension remained for how the games would be.
