Searchers are responsible for keeping the clan safe from Mother’s influence, which usually starts with talking to kits. They’re also responsible for catching any Mother’s Children and exiling them from the clan. If they believe a cat is a Mother’s Child they can challenge them to a fight. If the searcher wins, the supposed Mother’s Child, whether guilty or not, will go to council. The five highest level warriors in the clan will then vote on whether they deserve to stay or not. Searchers have a damage boost, so they’re more powerful than the average warrior, so watch out when fighting them. If cats tell a Searcher that they’re a Mother’s Child on their own the Searcher gets to decide whether or not to bring them to a council. When Searchers Roleplay with a Mother’s Child or any kit they have a 25% chance of gaining a “clue” Gathering ten clues means that a random Mother’s Child is found out They’re also the main trainers for new Sun Spirits and can train twice as many in their lifetime as any other Sun Spirit can, although Still only one at once.
Searchers are also responsible for teaching cat sign language to everyone :D
