Quinoa is a simple farm cat. He spends his days planting crops, and flowers. Even if he isn't getting as much money from his crops, as animals and such keep eating or trampling them. He's a good-hearted cat who cares for anyone and everything. One day he happens to notice a pawprint of something huge on the edge of the dark woods next to his farm. He thinks about going in, but hesitates. Resulting in the wind carrying his hat into the woods, which he rushes after without a second thought. He spends the whole day looking for his hat through the woods, eventually getting lost by nighttime. The whole time he'd felt like he'd been watched. Soon enough, this mysterious figure revealed themselves. A huge cat, with messy dark fur. A tail covered in mud, with leaves and sticks stuck in its pelt. With large fangs, and a eerie yet terrifying single yellow eye. Quinoa is understandably terrified, and runs for his life. But the large cat knows the dark woods much better. So by the time Quinoa had ran until he could see his farm, the large cat had simple walked so that it could block his path. Quinoa is in a panic, and curls up thinking it's the end - when he feels a simple drop of leather onto his head. His hat! This whole time the cat had been trying to get his hat back to him. It changes Quinoa's thoughts on the cat in an instant, and thanks it as it walks away. 《 OUT OF ANIMATIC 》 After a few days to process what had happened, Quinoa decides to give a gift to the cat who'd helped him. He ends up picking one of his prettiest orange flowers, and leaves it on the paw print from a few days prior. Before going back to his duties. The cat comes and puts the flower over its missing eye, being grateful for the gift. Over the next few months, Quinoa starts to realize that his crops haven't been eaten or trampled. One night he witnesses the cat scaring off any crop-wreckers, and realizes that's its been them helping. So they make a promise to the cat the next time he sees it - that if he ever gets the chance to expand his crops, he'll never expand into its woods. But he'd appreciate them protecting his crops. The cat agrees. Eventually Quinoa Nicknames the cat 'Evelyn'. The two continue their friendship. —————————— I HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH THIS!!! I love drawing these two. When I saw their designs I KNEW I could make something good with it. I could've colored it, but the pencil sketch look makes it a little more spooky hehe. —————————— [CREDITS] Designs: Art/Animatic: Me Coding: Me (it took so long omg) Song: Scavenger On The Wing by Mangy Bones
