MY REASONING: I say Gameboy for a reason - it is actually easier due to nerfing genie and adding medicine chests to dungeon 6 7 8, the colour dungeon in itself being easy and giving op rewards, adding more than the stone slab hint to owl statue hints in the dungeons (the map and beak/shard of slab locations in level 2 are swapped in non 1993 versions), (switch only differences) genie nerfed even more, more button make the game easier, makes you remember the shield which allows you to block things without any button loss trade-off, making link hold a sword permanently (looks cursed), made it possible to jump over slime eel's tail, indicate slime eel's fake versions by inverting eye colour on fake and have unique chomp sfx to indicate it's fake, then we get bad game design with them giving you a shell sensor because the new shell puzzles aren't good. MY ONLY PRAISE TO THE SWITCH VERSION IS BUFFING THE FINAL BOSS IN SMALL WAYS APART FROM THE FINAL PHASE - THESE THINGS INCLUDE GANON BLOCKING PEGASUS BOOT ON THE GANON PHASE. THE FINAL PHASE IS BAD ON SWITCH DUE TO IT NERFING THE BOOMERANG WHICH BTW DID ACTUAL DAMAGE AND NOT THAT DID OVER 48 (YES I CALCULATED) TIMES MORE DAMAGE THAN A REGULAR LEVEL 1 SWORD SLASH) WHICH ALLOW DETHI (DEATH-EYE) PHASE OF SHADOW NIGHTMARE TO BE ONE-HIT
