hello there! you might remember my roleplay, a new era. it was obviously a wip, but some problems came up. someone located where I was storing all my ideas and then had that account banned for plagiarism of tfcrp. which also means I probably will never feel motivated to pick it back up again :/ why? because I have the original clans and a similar sign up layout. but i'm not too worried about that. instead, i'm going to embrace my Hawaiian/Polynesian side of myself and make a roleplay based on many of the legends of their culture; popular and uncommon alike. but I can't do it alone! i'm looking for ceo's and/or a co-host to help carry out this roleplay since i'm already doing one [@-Skapari- / go check it out!!]. i'll most likely accept the first people who ask [one co-host, at least 4 ceo's] but I may ask you some questions, so be prepared! ARotC is still in the very beginning stages of creation, so communication and planning is crucial! all ideas from /anyone/ are welcome, especially if you have knowledge on the making of roleplays, running of roleplays, or hawaiian/polynesian culture. Basic info: - set on the Polynesian/Hawaiian islands [most cats can speak Samoan, Tongan, Māori, Hawaiian, and Tahitian which are the prominent "Polynesian languages"] - loners can form their own groups - loners and kittypets [but mostly kittypets] have a limit on the number of cats since the territory and two-leg tribe are canonically small. - the roleplay does not take place in modern polynesia or hawaii. - the roleplay is partially fantasy to go along with some of the legends. - there won't be many rules, ones that should be a given [no bullying, albeism, etc.] will not be included until an incident occurs. - 1 character slot per person. more can be earned through events and competitions. - prefixes can include: personality traits [eg. bold, bright], physical traits [eg. blue, russet], natural things [that are local to the current island], concepts [eg. ethereal], Polynesian creatures of legend, and any of the above in one of the Polynesian languages. - Most of the same wc roles Undeveloped concepts: - kp residence - island map - seasonal events - clan functions - clan territories [where things will be located] - clan camp maps - StarClan is a whole other thing on it's own, where a select few users will be able to have characters that are catified versions of Polynesian/Hawaiian gods. Ka Hanau Hou o na Ohana o Anuta is directly translated to The New Birth of Anuta's Families but is more accurately Anuta’s Rebirth of the Clans. This will be the name of the roleplay until further notice, but ideas are welcome! The name will also change once it is started since they will move right before volcanic eruptions [annual event], even though they aren't common. For the sake of the roleplay, all cats in the Clans will reside on the small polynesian island known as Anuta. These cats are meant to be realistic and therefore the roleplay will still have kittypets [who live with the island's natives] and loners/rogues. Loners and rogues reside near the ruins of an old inactive volcano. Kittypets residence is yet to be decided. THIS ROLEPLAY IS PARTIALLY FANTASY. One of the most common predators to the cats are a reclusive shapeshifting creature known as the Mo’o. The Mo’o are shapeshifting guardians of polynesian and hawaiian water sources, such as cave pools and fishponds. According to the legends, they sometimes appear as beautiful women or reptiles such as geckos and lizards.
