Made with watercolor, colored pencils, pastels, and a bit of acrylic for the moon. - | 2 | - Black Cat (2023), 10 years old: 8.8/10; It's pretty okay, although it's kinda hard to tell that it's a cat since it doesn't have ears. Made with colored pencils on black paper/board. - | 3 | - Hermione Granger (2024), 11 years old: 9/10; The hair and face was done pretty well, but the background was kind of blotchy. Made with colored pencils and watercolor for the background (bad lighting haha) - | 4 | - Manatee (2024), 11 years old: 8.4/10; The manatee looks a bit strange. This piece was pretty challenging since it was all watercolor. - | 5 | - Dragon Eye (2024), 11 years old: 9/10; This one was also almost all watercolor, except for a few highlights with acrylic and Posca. - | 6 | - Seahorse (2024), 12 years old: 8.5/10; It doesn’t have a distinct subject, given that everything is so bright and busy. Made with acrylic. - | 7 | - Scissor-tailed Flycathcer (2024), 12 years old: 9.6/10; This one is probably the best one I've made. It looks more realistic if you see it from far away. Made with acrylic. - | 8 | - Koi Pond (2025), 12 years old: 8.7/10; Not bad for my first oil painting, though I didn’t put primer on the canvas so it was slightly bumpy. Once again, there isn’t really a clear subject; you kind of just look at it like one image. The lily pads could've had more detail. Made with oil paint. - | 9 | - Robin (2025), 12 years old: (8/10) I think it’s mainly the background that messes it up. It would likely look a lot more realistic if I hadn’t done a purple background. Definitely not my favorite. Made with acrylics. - edit: I'm just going to post each art piece individually now lol
