Okey dokey, these are my (new) 2 main OC’s, Max (left) and Jake (right). I absolutely love how this came out, which is usually pretty rare when I’m making art, especially digitally, so :D. This is also a brand new art style for me, and I really like it so far. I’ve been experimenting a lot with different styles recently, and I might stay with this one, at least for digital stuff. No one gets to see Jake’s face >:)
[LOOOOOOORRRRRREEE] Both of them are part of this group of “lost souls” with powers or special skills. Jake is only in the group because Max told the group’s leader that he’d only join if they let Jake join too, cause they both didn’t have much of a family at the moment, so the group is their family now. Most of the members are pretty young (15-25) and have superhuman powers. Btw Max is 22 and Jake is 19. Also the group isn’t exactly “legal.” Heh. It’s full of outlaws ‘n stuff m o n e y - Max is the closest thing Jake has to a friend, but that doesn’t mean much cause Jake’s a big loner, who tends to keep to himself and doesn’t talk much, if at all. Jake also has some crazy trauma and anger which leads him to wearing this homemade cartoony mask, that gives him this whole new personality. He’s a bit cookoo with the mask on, but super contained and quiet without it. He’s still quiet either way tho. - Max is followed around by this dark, manipulative shadow-figure called Equinox, who in turns gives Max these cool shadow-powers, that include, but are not limited to: weird shadow-telekinesis, the ability to turn shadows into portals, “shadow manipulation” and some other stuff like that. Also Equinox can only be seen and heard by Max, but at times he can reveal himself to others. Overtime Equinox gains more and more control over Max, basically turning Max into a shadow-figure himself. But that’s the future. We don’t talk about the future.
