Her deep brown eyes seemed to sink into Padmini’s soul, digging out her deepest fears, worries and secrets. The Queen’s smile faded into a grimacing frown, her teeth were bared with piercings and gemstones. The extravagant makeup she was wearing seemed to wash out her humanity, it wasn’t beautiful, just cold. The most eye catching thing were her lashes, adorned with small emeralds and diamonds, they must’ve been at least 5 inches long. Small glowing orbs were floating at her ears, where you would normally see earrings. "I heard you four," she paused "and the cat," she side eyed clover "were not attending library during the designated hours." The Queen's expression looked bored and angered. "What are your excuses? Are the library accomodations not to your liking?" She snarled sarcastically. She sounded quite childish, like someone pretending to be an adult but failing miserably, but Padmini feared her. Her icy gaze and strong voice sent chills down her back. She couldn’t help but notice behind the extravagance, she looked just like her. Padmini thought back to what Clover had said earlier, how could this random teenager from the 1800’s WHO ISN’T EVEN FROM MY UNIVERSE be me?
