!!! TRIGGER WARNING !!! this project contains [cartoon] blood, implies death, has flashing lights (or quickly changing colors), fast movement, scribbles/static, and can be considered intense. (not my most disturbing project, I tried to not get carried away cause there are 8 yr olds on this site) --- God I need to stop entering maps sob --- NOTE FOR @XflyX!!! ok so I wanted to say that when you go inside the project, all you need to backpack is the sprite titled "part 12" all the others are unimportant lmao The uploads sprite is just there cause I made the storyboard sprite first, then duplicated that into the final sprite, and had to replace the placeholder stuff with the "polished" animation and it was easier to have a different sprite to upload the files into lol if you don't like the flash or you think it hurts your eyes too much or whatever you can go into the project and when you backpack that just detach the "when *flag* pressed" to the clone script, I put a comment next to that script naming it "flash" and no broadcast blocks at all!! so you don't need to worry about that :)) --- ok anyways so I'm so behind in my classes ;w;;;; ah well I didn't know what to do actually I just wanted to enter this map because um I like torturing myself and I like the color palette :DDDD /silly ok ok so funny story yayyyyy I originally wanted to do my OCS who can basically mind control you / change the way you view the world (messing with your 5 senses and such) but that's too complicated cause too much detail sooo Then I thought why not do a flashback thing? like each time the beat drops there would be bits and pieces of my oc's lore!! that sounded fun but I didn't know what to spoil and again, it's too much detail and foreshadowing and I don't even have most of their lore planned out sobb If you've been following me you probably know who Tally and Nova is, that's who I wanted to then because I decided against it I was like, why not animate Tally's loyal companion, Cici? a few projects I made a while back features CandyCane, but I never really touched on her lore much, so I wanted to animate her!! her color palette matches the map's color palette, so why not? in the end I decided on Chandelier, by baby <33 Chandelier is kinda cuckoo and I get Chandelier vibes off of this song, so I went ahead and animated them I may be obsessed maybe in my defense Chandelier is awesome and I love them anyways so I simplified Candy's design cause I am only working off of 2 colors rn and his design includes at least 4 soooo Candy is Chandelier's nickname btw this is the first oc palette map that has no trauma or angst isn't that crazy? every single other oc map I participated in, that allows me to do anything I want(as long as it fit the map's conditions and the community guidelines) with my oc's, I've included oc angst exact this one there isn't really any significant lore here just Chandelier being Chandelier <//3 I love them haha Candy's design is by but all art here is by me!! <3 I also gave him a mini design change (this isn't his actual design, like I said I had to simplify his design as well as make it match the color palette but eh whatever) I'll probably make an art dump soon with art of him so!! stay tuned ;)) I originally wanted to do smth a little bit more disturbing but I scrapped that so I went for a more child-friendly version not as much blood :thumbs: (I wanted to draw Candy holding a knife with pictures connected with red string in the bg, indicating murder, missing children, kidnapping, and well, yk, but again, this is a children's site so) sigh --- (oh you read this far?) ok ok ok wanna know a secret I was procrastinating this whole project and started on it today :thumbs: I didn't wanna do it cause Idk I didn't want to so yesterday I was like,, "ok AKI you have to do this it's due tmr and you can't just ask for /another/ extension, you haven't even STARTED on it yet." *disappointed AKI noises* but guess what I never started on it LMAO so I locked in today :thumbs: I animated the storyboard, coded it, and drew the final animation all today :DDD in all it took me around like what 5 ish hrs? yeah ... procrastinating is a bad habit of mine oopsies...
