⚠︎ IMPORTANT Hello prisoners and guards! You may have noticed that, unfortunately, PANOPTICON has been dragging lately. This project is a formal update on the current state of the roleplay, some changes that I'm hoping to make, and what will be happening with the rest of S1. - - - First and foremost, I'd like to make my current troubles transparent – PANOPTICON is a passion project, and I've found that what I want to make out of it is too ambitious for just myself to handle. The systems are easily backed up and require individual creative attention, which I simply can't handle consistently on my own. That being said, I'm looking for 2-4 additional team members. The only requirement is that you have chaos, as all of my planning is done in a server there. If you'd be interested in helping take on some of the work, please DM me @supposedlylotus. - - - Secondly, it's been made clear to me through the duration of the first round that a lot of PANOPTICON's functions aren't exactly optimal – advancing through the NPCs' friendship levels is difficult to achieve naturally, event timing isn't ideal, and time in between rounds was utterly neglected. Future seasons will definitely be adjusted as they come, and I think it was a mistake to run a true Season One without running through a testing season first. - - - This leads me into my next point of interest, which addresses what will happen with S1 from here on out – S1 will be officially changed to S0 and considered a noncanon trial run. I understand this may be upsetting to those of you who've been actively participating and developing your characters, and I'm incredibly sorry. Season One will be the first canon entry into PANOPTICON and will take place after S0 has concluded. !! Anyone in S0 who would like to have their character be part of the new S1 will automatically receive a spot in the same role/location they were in. Additionally, they will not need to redo any event participation such as the Interrogation. !! - - - These are all the updates I have at the moment.
