Devil and Angel, by Crimson Star Czar Chapter One The Archangel Michaela adjusted her collar in the mirror, her crop by her side, a true figure of Angelic authority. "Azazel!", she called, "Hurry on up, we'll be late for the banquet!". Just then, Azazel, the Archangel's younger sister, slid down the handrail of the staircase, before sticking the land right before her elder sister. "Ready and reporting for duty, dearest sister", Azazel proudly said, saluting in a joking manner. "Lower your hand, Azazel, please", Archangel Michaela ordered, "That gesture is reserved only for archangels such as myself, darling". "Yes, sister", Azazel responded sheepishly. "Now then, little sister, as you are aware, Queen Lucifer has invited us to her domain for a banquet of sorts. There shall be angels and demons alike," the Archangel explained, Azazel nodded in understanding. "But, little sister, there is one thing you are absolutely forbidden from doing, I do not want to see you interacting with any of the demons, they could hurt a sweet little thing yourself, what would I do without you?", Archangel said sympathetically. "Yes, sister, I understand. I shall not interact with any of the demons unless permitted otherwise", Azazel responded. "You won't be getting such permissions anytime soon, sister", the Archangel said coldly. "Now then, our chauffeur is here, we need to make haste". The sisters hopped onto the ride and began making their way to the Underworld, along with many other angels. Azazel was sitting by her sister, excited that she'd finally be able to see a demon up close, but still so apprehensive, not knowing if such demons were dangers or not to her. Upon arriving in the Ninth Circle, the angels exited their carriages and made their way to Lucifer's castle, whilst the common demons bowed in submission. Pandemonica, the demon working at the front door, froze in fear when she saw the army of demons, allowing them to pass by with no consequences. The angels found their seats across from the demons and for the first time in a while, the Archangel and Queen Lucifer were shoulder to shoulder. "My subjects", Lucifer declared, "This is a truly historic moment for us all. As we've been at each others' throats like children for who knows how long anymore!" Demons and angels alike chuckled, as did Azazel, before she and Lucifer shook hands and the banquet commenced. Azazel was enjoying the food provided, when a nasty scent assaulted her senses, it was smoke, causing her to cough. She turned to see where that smoke was coming from, and there she stood, Zdrada, a servant to Lucifer and the bad girl of the group. She smoked, drank, caused harm to her coworkers, everything. Azazel got up and, against her sister's wishes, made contact with a demon. "Excuse me, madam?", Azazel sheepishly asked, "Could you please smoke at the window? You're making me cough". Zdrada simply looked at Azazel and sneered. "No", she declared, "Now, be a good little angel and sit down".
