———————————Intro:———————————— Hello, this is the ref for Nocturne, who goes by Rune. After doing some character building, she may very well be my favorite roleplaying character. ————Table of contents:———— -Name, Nickname, Abilities -Simple Aappearance -Detailed Appearance -Simple Personality -Detailed Personality -Backstory -Final Notes —————Name, nickname and abilities——————— Okay, so this is Nocturne, a female cat who goes by Rune, with powers to vanish into thin air and manipulate shadows. She belongs to @catsgo123231 (me)! ————————Simple appearance———————— A black ghost tabby (tabby markings are bengal) with piercing amber eyes. ———————————Detailed—————————— Nocturne is a black cat with sepia colorpoints and ghost bengal markings, along with a lighter underside. She has a lithe and strong build, and is considered smaller for a bengal cat, standing at about 12 and a half inches. This however, doesn’t weaken her in battle. Though she would rather flee than fight, due to trauma gained from a brutal dog attack as a young cat, she’s not afraid to defend herself, and though not as strong as some, she makes up for it with quick, calculated blows, and her swiftness in battle. She has piercing amber eyes that seem to see everything, and dark grayish-brown nose leather. You may notice that she bears many scars, mostly across her legs, but also more notable ones, including one across her nose and along the base of her neck. Somehow, looking at her you suspect that whoever did that to here got it far worse, from the way she moves with easy grace and planned-out steps. ————————Simple Personality————————— She is calculating, confident, mysterious, unpredictable, alert, and rather capable. She is rather unsympathetic to most, but is actually rather kind and caring deep down, although she’s never been close enough to someone to show it. She’s logic oriented, and follows her head more than her heart. Nocturne often offers insightful observations about situations, although some may be less than kind. ——————————-Detailed—————————— Nocturne is usually cold and calculating towards strangers, and not afraid to speak what she likes with causal insults and an almost perfect facade. She hides much about herself and her true intentions, but one attribute that is shown either way is her outstanding intellect, which she usually uses in her own favor, for blackmail.. (/hj) or whatever she sees fit. She’s not evil, and is an Organized Neutral character, with values that involve staying alive and alone. She doesn’t want to ever live in a group due to trust issues established from her traumatic past. She is however kind and caring deep down, although she’s never let it show, as she has never been close enough to anyone to let them see it. Nocturne follows her head over her heart, and follows logic and reason, often offering insightful observations that are sometimes.. less than kind. —————————Backstory———————————— When she was young, about three months old, she got cornered but a group of dogs, that she barely escaped from alive. Most of the marks they left only lightly scarred, except for the bite mark on her right shoulder from the smallest dog. After that, she was left with a deathly fear of dogs that she hides from other cats, along with a hate of humans. She wasn’t yet mistrustful of cat, but when she was about eighteen months old (a year and half) she was betrayed by someone she had thought trustworthy, shattering her trust for all cats, and leaving her with scars from the encounter- not just physical ones, but also ones left on her heart and soul. After this, she decided she could trust no one. While treating the scar he had given her, across the bridge of her nose, she looked into a pool of water, and saw herself. In her eyes, she saw a weak, broken cat that let people push her around and never spoke her mind. She vowed to make that change, and since then, she became who she is now, the cold, calculating, and unpredictable cat she is today, earning scars from scuffles, although by now she has learned to chose her battles. Later she would discover her powers.. and decide to hide them as a last resort for her safety. —————————Final Notes——————————— -Nocturne is a highly mistrusting cat who is not looking for a friendship and would rather live all alone for her entire life. -She’s super cool -more people in this Rp would be great -her age isn’t on there because she will get older as the roleplay progresses and I’m too lazy to edit it every time. -she lives in a less crowded part of the city, in a abandoned shack that she has modified so only she can access it, as she wouldn’t feel safe other wise. Also, say sparkles if you saw this. -her favorite prey in the city is mouse, but she actually prefers squirrel. -she’s very scared of dogs, and sometimes that can break through her facade. -I’m too tired to add more, TBA
