As the Autobots and their human allies attempt to protect the AllSpark, the Decepticons launch a full-scale assault. Starscream takes to the skies, Transit wreaks havoc on the freeway (until Optimus Prime takes him down), and Hot Rod, despite being injured, fights bravely alongside the humans. The climax centers on Bob Maxwell racing to keep the AllSpark out of Decepticon hands. Megatron arrives and battles Optimus Prime in a brutal duel, until Megatron accepted defeat, permanently. Then, Optimus sends a message into space, calling any surviving Autobots to join them, while Bob uses the AllSpark to create the Rescue Bots.
