*Nicole’s POV* ☆ ⌒ ★ ⌒ ☆ ⌒ ★ ⌒ ☆ ⌒ ★ ⌒ ☆ ⌒ ★ ⌒ ☆ ⌒ ★ ⌒ ☆ I finish checking a few last-minute things before I have to go to the front of the church’s courtyard with Bella and Jackie. There’s a beautiful white arch covered with yellow and white daffodils that some of the kids who are coming have picked. It wasn’t planned to have the flowers, and the church didn’t mind the kids picking them, but it looks surprisingly better with them. “Twenty-five minutes left,” I mutter to myself, seeing a clock on one of the walls of the courtyard. I know I said “last-minute,” but when you’re organizing a special event, like this, twenty-five minutes is hardly any time. Becca’s reading some kinda of book at the end of the aisle ( I mean, of course she is ), and Nicholas sitting down in one of the chairs in the front row. I sigh, knowing that it’ll take a lot of convincing for him to get up and get where he’s supposed to be. Edward’s patiently standing at the front, doing what he should be doing unlike some of the others. Bella and Jackie are chatting with each other excitedly, standing on stage right. Kai’s on the other side, fiddling with his suit. I hitch my long dress up the smallest bit, and walk up towards the arch to take my place. Hermione and Ron have come, Rose literally asleep on one of the chairs next to Hermione, Ron with Hugo and Jaylen, setting them up for ring bearer and flower girl. Nicholas stands up from his seat and goes in between Edward and Kai. “Hey, Nikki, could you go fetch Becca real quick?” Edward asks me. “Yeah, sure,” I reply, and speed-walk as fast as I can in these tight high heels. “Becca, we need you up there,” I say, a bit breathlessly. She stands up, but needs a little bit of help, because her lacy dress is hard to move it. Or at least it looks it. Harley had to make it smaller and tighter because Becca’s a bit… //smaller// than some others, frankly. I check that clock on the wall again, and it shows five minutes. How did the twenty other minutes go by so quickly? A bit jittery, she walks up to the arch. I don’t know why she needs to, but when Becca comes back, I ask her what was up there. “Edward just wanted me to know it’s almost time. As if I didn’t already know.” I nod, squeeze her hand shortly reassuringly, say a quick see-you-later, and head up for the whole thing to commence. By now, most people have come, and it’s a bit difficult to squeeze through the rows of chairs. I get up to the arch, take my place, and put on a smile. Not that I have to force it, anyways. There’s a soft jingle of bells, and I see Becca stand up and walk herself down the aisle. ☆ ︶ ★ ︶ ☆ ︶ ★ ︶ ☆ ︶ ★ ︶ ☆ ︶ ★ ︶ ☆ ︶ ★ ︶ ☆
