The Endirus war (The Shields of the Stars Vs Red Stars ) In the 42nd Millennium there is only war, and that war extends to seemingly allies whether it be from a simple communication or a slight disagreement it can and most of the time will lead to all out war. This fact applied to the red stars and the Shields of the Stars during the Endrirus war. Chapter 1 Distress call A Series of encoded messages start typing out on the screen of a computer slowly uncoding on the screen. It slowly flicks through authorization codes until it goes into an alarm system and activates it. A loud alarm suddenly starts to blare throughout the ship making the wall quake. Everyone on the ship has been made aware of the distress call sent by a planet of tech priests studying an artifact. A marine walked to the computer and shuts down the alarm code. Finally after a full 2 minutes of a blaring alarm it has been turned off. But the marine continues to type sending out a response code “We Are Coming” the marine sends the code. A sharp rumble starts coming from the back of the ship and it begins turning to a different direction. The ship starts rumbling furthermore with crew running and marines marching preparing for the on coming warp jump. They have just received a distress call from the Adeptus Mechanicus forge world of Endirus. They were being attacked by another chapter The Red Stars for seemingly no reason. The Shields have known about the red stars for a while now and it is not like them to randomly attack a forge world. In the chaos of the ship a beacon of stability walked into the chaos of the ship Astovadion Cestanen the “Iron Shield” he was the Chapter master. Everyone suddenly calmed down in his presence. He began speaking “Calm Down everyone Please brief me on what is going on” he said briefly, a marine in the crowd spoke “we received a distress call from the forge world Endirus sir, they are being attacked by the red stars.” “The Red Stars” Astovadion Exclaimed “why would they attack a peaceful forge world loyal to the emperor” The same marine spoke up again now standing “we don't know sir the distress call only disclosed they were being attacked for no reason” he said quickly once again taking his place on the ground “attempt to open a com link with them” Astovadion began to get increasingly confused and a bit annoyed. Finally after many com pings they got an audience from a red stars marine “to who am i speaking to this is not a great time to be pinging us” the marine said annoyed “I am Astovadion the chapter master of The Shields of the stars” he said disregarding the marine on the vox. The marine spoke again “why do you call us we are in a war”he said briefly “we would like to know why you are attacking the forge world of Endirus” Astovadion said it like it was obvious “Isn’t it clear they’re heretics not loyal to the god emperor” he said almost angry. Astovadion shut the com link swiftly and turned back to the crowd “We must find out for ourselves” he turned around back into the corridor and the chaos of the ship returned. After almost an hour they warp jump was finalized and they emerged in the Endirus system

He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day, so that He may never truly die. In the Grim Darkness of the far future, there is only war... Chapter 1- The Distress Call Astovadion Cestanen, Chapter Master of the Shield Of Stars, sat on the command throne of the (Placeholder) the pride of his fleet, his augmented hands resting on the shield of Manus, observing the command deck. His honour guard, two senior Veterans Achoc Bran and Dian Numok were solid and still but yet they were bickering about something. The Veterans' converstation was suddenly interrupted by a vox officers call to them. "My Lords, we have just recieved a vox message of utmost importance" the vox officer paused waiting for a answer, "Speak" said Achoc Bran "Yes, my lords, the vox message comes from the nearby system of Endrius on a forge world called Endrius-IV, its says that they are being besieged by a Chapter called the Red Stars..." the vox officer's voice trailed off as if afraid to continue "Continue" said Dian Numok in a hard voice, "Y-yes my lords, the Arch-Magos named Veridian who is in charge of the world says that the Red Stars have turned traitor, and he is requesting any assistance to fend them off". When the vox-officer finished and shrank back to his post, the two veterans started to bicker "We must help the Arch-Magos, the Red Stars have clearly turned traitor" said Dian Numok "How can we be sure that they have turned traitor brother?" replied Achoc Bran "Brother Achoc they have been accused of heresy twice" "And that has been proven false, the Red Stars must have a reason for assaulting this forge world" "The Red St-" "My Lords" interjected the tiny voice of the Vox Officer "Another distress signal has been sent along with a message" The two veterans both looked at him, the vox officer cowered as he said "Arch Magos Veridian says that he is guarding an Artifact of the utmost importance". As the vox officer resumed his station. The two veterans went back to bickering. Astovodian brooded silently on what the vox officer had reported. "The R-" began Achoc but was shortly interrupted by the cold and sharp voice of Astrovodian "It is clear to me that the Red Stars have turned to the Arch-Enemy and are trying to get the Artifact, we must enforce our allies in the Mechanicus, by the full authority of a Chapter Master, I declare Red Stars Excommunicate Traitoris." Astovodian paused to brood Dian and Achoc waited for him to continue "Shipmaster, set course for the Endirus System". End Of Chapter Will make future revisions but I'm happy with it for now.
