The song you're hearing in this project is the unused soundtrack for the scrapped level Hidden Palace Zone, wich theories say that the song and the level we're used to show a cutscene of Super Sonic's transformation, and that's why the song is looped, but an other theory, that I'm genuinely accepting says that the song maybe was intended to be used when you failed to collect all the seven Chaos Emeralds (Wich gives you the opportunity to become Super Sonic),because the song sounds a bit somber for me. I decided to do a fanmade Try Again screen,with Sonic's unused sprite for bumping into a wall and falling and Eggman juggling the Chaos Emeralds above him saying ,,Try again". Hope you like it ig.
