Over two years ago, "TWTHG: Remastered" released in early access. On may 20th, Palindrome (TWTHG remastered) releases in full. "Years of advancement, unhindered. But it didn't last. Story Changes: - Every three months*, a large part of the story will be released in the form of "Books". Books will contain: + Three chapters, book based armor and weapons, lore, and a new dungeon* per book. Every three books will add a new class === Activity changes: 1. Two role-play types: • Casual (No weapons, or fighting. Just talking and hanging out in social areas) • Table-Top (Actvities, with Gameplay using virtual dice and cards) - *Dungeons: Dungeons are difficult, four role player assassination missions, that have several checkpoints in which you can leave and rejoin at any time, unless completed. Each dungeon has a number of encounters in which you complete puzzles, or defeat bosses, to progress. Difficulty tiers: ~ Dungeon race, the hardest difficulty, that lasts for the initial week of release: Good luck. (Unusually aggressive enemies that do more damage, limited revives, locked character loadouts) + Guaranteed mythic drop ~ Master, a harder version of the dungeon. - Unusually aggressive enemies that do more damage, more boss health. ~ Normal, the regular difficulty. - No modifiers Dungeon loot can only be used obtained once per week, unless it’s weekly* *Weekly dungeons can be replayed to obtain loot infinitely until reset === Character changes: + There are now four classes - Paladin, Mage, Tank, and Scout + Characters can choose from several elemental powers, each with aspects that can boost overall performances. Each character has a set ability. + Characters have five stats, that are upgraded based on artifacts and aspects. Mobility, Resilience, Recuperation, Strength, and Discipline. The stats are upgraded by tiers, up to five: - Mobility: How fast the character moves. - Resilience: How much damage the character can take before being defeated - Recuperation: How fast regeneration occurs after being damaged - Strength: How strong your character's melee is - Discipline: How strong your characters ability is (Tiers increase stat by 20%) === Armor Changes: + Armor will be randomly rolled, with a stat total of up to 60. Stats are usually balanced, but you will desire spiky armor in the stats you are focused on upgrading. + There are three stats on armor - Durability, weight, and Protection. There will always be at least two stats that are higher in count than the third. + The Higher the tier of armor, the higher base stats it will have. Armor can be upgraded to add mods Armor is tiered by: Mythic (Extremely rare drops) Legendary (Rare drops) Epic (Common drops, starter armor) === Weapon changes: Weapons are now tiered as such: Mythic (Extremely rare drops) Legendary (Rare drops) (Tiers I-V) Epic (Common drops, starter weapons) + Mythic weapons will have two columns, Mythic perk, and intrinsic + Legendary Weapons will have four columns, magazine, Perk one, Perk Two, and intrinsic + Epic weapons will have one perk, one magazine. ~ Weapons have three stats that can be upgraded, by upgrading the weapon: - Accuracy (Recoil control) - Handling (Weapon switch speed) - Impact (Weapon damage, upgraded by .10) - Reload speed - Weapons will be released with a list of every perk they can roll with. - New weapon frames every two books, new weapon designs every chapter as part of the book's arsenal === Lore changes - Lore will now be posted in secrets, weapon + armor tabs, or in pages, earned by completing challenges, quests, or activities, such as dungeons ====================================== Important Info - Every two weeks, there will be a reset; Resets change the featured activities, this will give role players more time to collect as much stuff as they want in said activities. - Resets occurs on Friday, 1:00 AM, UTC Downtime - To prevent players from continuously becoming stronger than others, there will be a downtime. After completing every featured activity at least 5 times each, there will be a 5 hour cooldown for said activities. Going Dark - Maintenance to activities, or things of the such, will occur on resets. Maintenance will take a projected three hours, with larger updates starting on the first day of a Book ======================================
