Ahh yes, back in the days when Supersonic Shootin' Redux was originally gonna be named Supersonic Shootin' Deluxe. This would feature a 3d perspective and would be my attempt at a 2.5D shooter. Unfortunately I couldnt get this to work out and would instead just revert to it being a sidescroller that's built from the ground up. Some mechanics here do make it into the Redux, such as using a crosshair and the first stage being reminiscent of green hill zone (this one WAS going to be green hill). Some of the plot was recycled too, only i made it more dark and evil. Use the left and right (and at times up and down arrows) to fly. Use the W key to barrel roll. Use the A key to shoot. Use the S key to aim at where you want to charge at (up and down to help you keep an eye on the target), then zoom to it! Use the D key to speed up help yourself evade enemy bullets.
PLOT: Whilst searching for mechanics to use in his old home, Tails discovered something like never before. He picks it up out of curiosity, but it turns out that the "something like never before" was a trap set to capture and keep him inside forever. After hearing a bloody scream, Sonic urges to rush and find Tails. Will you save tails just on time or will he die for all eternity?
