Zoey watched as Porsha walked inside with Mia on her pink leash behind her. Caramel had deep regret, staring at the open sliding door in front of her. Porsha walked inside with Mia, closing the door. Caramel sighed. “How are we going to get inside? It’s clearly closed and locked.” Lola lifted her snout, pointing it to the doggy door. “Mia. She’s our ticket into the house!” Caramel shook her head in confusion. “Mia has paw, not hands. She can’t open the door!” Caramel said, full of confusion. “Right but she knows someone who can.” Zoey spoke. Caramel tilted her head, it had to be one of the owners, but they were all in bed or getting ready to sleep. Just then Mia came downstairs, followed by a smaller human, Porsha’s daughter, Naomi. Her long blonde hair was tied into a ponytail, and she wore pink pajamas with black cats on them. She followed Mia. Caramel could barely hear her faint voice behind the glass, let alone understand the human language she spoke. (Yes I know they are speaking English, in the story they are neighing/barking/making the animal accorded noises, I just don’t know how to speak horse/dog lol) “Mia, what’s wrong? Why’d you bring me downstairs.” Naomi’s faint voice behind the door said. Caramel couldn’t understand. Naomi stared at the animals behind the glass. “Hi guys, do you want treats or something? Because I can get you secret treats!” Caramel only understood one word, “treats” her favorite. “Treats?” Carmel’s ears perked up. “Focus, Carmel. We’re here for going inside!” Lola said. “Right, sorry.” Caramel nodded.
