I've been intending to work on the lore doc and it's official revamp for a while... and almost started- but before I do that, I'd like to make a little poll about something that's been on my mind for a while! Should I reveal all the background lore from the start so you'll have better understanding on what's happening... OR, should I put the exciting spoiler-y lore in a different doc and slowly reveal more and more of it as the RP progresses? Honestly I'm tempted to reveal the lore as the RP progresses- I'd love to see your guys's theories on things as I reveal spoilers and sneak peeks! If I do this, then I'll reveal the basic lore like the founding of the kingdoms and some info on the realms! Plus info on religion too haha. There will still be a lot more- but if I talk about them then this will become a literal essay- so if this wins you'll just have to wait and see >:) Revealing all background lore from the start means that you guys will know what's happening and have full understanding of it- but I feel like it doesn't create more anticipation. If I do this, then lore events won't be nearly as exciting as I want them to be, pretty much- and honestly, I don't think the RP will be all that exciting in that case. But then, that's my opinion, haha So- which one sounds better to y'all- revealing all the lore from the start of the RP, or slowly leaking more and more of it out?
