For those of you (like me) who prefer to read.... Scratch Cat stood in front of the store his a big smile on his face. "Oh, wow! It's my first day at school!" he announced to the empty street. "I'd better not be late!" And with that, he paraded down the path to his new school. FIVE MINUTES LATER... Scratch Cat gasped as he stared at the enormous academy. "Wow! It's so big!" he exclaimed. Hmm, Scratch Cat thought. Maybe I should go talk to the other kids! A starfish in front of Scratch Cat was staring at the school with a big grin on his face. Clearly, he was pleased to be back. The starfish turned around and gasped in shock. "AHHHHHHH!!!!" he screamed, terrified at the sight of Scratch Cat. The starfish flashed a dozen different colors before finally stopping on green. "Hello! Sorry, did I scare you?" Scratch Cat asked pleasantly. "I'm Cat, by the way." The starfish relaxed. "No, it's okay. That happens all the time. I'm Star, nice to meet you." Suddenly, a huge shark with a mean smirk on his ugly blue face appeared behind Star. "Well, well," he growled. Star turned. "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" he cried, flashing a multitude of colors (It stopped on purple, his original color). "Hey, starfish. You're looking especially tasty today," the shark sneered. "HAHAHA I"M SO FUNNY NOT!" Cat felt a bubble of anger growing in his chest. He stepped between Star and the Shark. "GET AWAY FROM STAR! ROAR!!!" he hollered in the shark's face, rage twisting his face into a horrible snarl. The Shark's expression transformed from smug to scared. "Oh-okay!" he squeaked. Turning, he fled screaming. "Oh, Cat! You saved me!" Star gasped, a smile spreading across his purple face. "Wanna be friends?" Cat turned, grinning. "Okay!" he agreed. CAT AND STAR ARE FRIENDS!!! YAY!!!! The end.
