Power System - Overview: At the center of everything is ethereal energy, a source of anything & everything our world would consider supernatural or fantastical. It can be divided into 2 types of outputs, magic & psychic, which can then be divided among several element types. Origins: Ethereal energy originally formed from within stars, at its most visible & impurest form it is a gas that appears as small clouds of dust that can come in many shapes & colors. It often has the silhouette of some sort of cryptid like the Loch Ness monster or Bigfoot, which is why many people believe these creatures are real. This form is also nicknamed “stray ethereal” because its impurities force it away from other ethereal energy, causing it to appear on the planet’s surface. Pure ethereal energy is invisible, & rather than floating in the air, it resides within atoms. This energy used to be located on the surface, but retreated to the core as human civilization began, since pure ethereal energy is warded off by human concepts like rules, order, & society. Though this only occurred on the first earth, after it was destroyed & the universe was reconstructed, pure ethereal now exists on the surface of every planet. Output types: Magic- An output caused by a physical effort like a ritual (God: Prickly Pickleson) (mages) Psychic- An output caused by a mental effort (God: Psirho Pickleson) (psychics) Elements: Cosmic- An element in which powers can be automatically classified into if it’s unclear what category they fit under (God: GooBee) Cogno- Any powers causing mental manipulation (God: Vosunt) Atomic- Any power related to the modification of matter (God: Goliaeth) Necrome- Any power relating to the manipulation of a soul or vessel (God: Motherland) Aqua- Any power involving control of a liquid (God: Orition) Tempas- Any power involved control of weather (God: Molara) Glacies- Any power involving lowering temperatures (God: Zhatya) Ignis- Any power involving control of plasma(fire) (God: Firori) Magmis- Any power involving control of volcanic activity (God: Stolmar) Calor- Any power involving heightening temperatures (God: Aumene) Aer- Any power involving control of gases (God: Aiectrios) Venen- Any power involving control of deadly substances (God: Arsenica) Indust- Any power involving control of electricity (God: Zeunin) Natre- Any power involving control of flora (God: Licheni) Terra- Any power involving control of a landmass (God: Tetran) Lux- Any powers involving an increase of visibility (God: Sirius) Umber- Any powers involving a decrease of visibility (God: Celene) God family tree(do keep it in mind, gods are nonplayable characters): Motherland is the mother of Sirius & Celene (They’re twins) Vosunt is the father of Aiectrios, Firori, Orition, & Licheni (Licheni’s oldest, then Orition, then Aiectrios & Firori are twins) The Aumene & Zhatya are the parents of Zeunin & Tetran (Zeunin’s older) GooBee was born from a hairball & thus has no relations Licheni & Celene are the mothers of Goliaeth Orition is the father of Arsenica(he had a wife but they divorced) Aiectrios & Zeunin are the fathers of Molara Firori & Tetran are the parents of Stolmar
Species Guide part 1 - Overview What are summons? Summons are the most dominant gened creatures, they are split into 3 species, psychics, mages, & humans, & appear like your everyday human. Each summons is linked to an output type. What are unnaturals? Unnaturals are the opposite of summons, they are animalistic creatures with the most recessive genes. These creatures are usually linked to 1 particular element & can use a random output type. Usually they'll be greater & lesser unnaturals for a certain species, but sometimes they won't. What's the difference between the greater & lesser unnaturals? Greater unnaturals are the fully animalistic versions of the species, they are rare than lesser versions. Lesser unnaturals, sometimes called summonoids, are the half summons versions of a species after years of evolution.
