Ok you can't tell me they haven't gone way too far! The insane prices for the Switch 2? I mean the switch itself I completely kind of understand, but 80$ for a digital game? AND $90 for a hard copy? Nintendo is just downright greedy! AND there's no way you can make me change my mind! Let's go a little deeper into how I think Nintendo is going a little too far if not extreme just for money. 1. The insane prices for games The insane prices for games is just no. Making you pay more just for the hard copies is outrageous. And less for digital just to make you buy the digital? I know prices are going up and most of it is because of inflation and...tariffs. BUT...I think that's not all the case. 2. Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games (upgrade passes?) So they decide to update Botw after its been out for how many years 8? 9? And Tears too has been out for a couple years now. Games like Kirby and the forgotten land is not only getting upgrade resolutions and better graphics, fps, but also a new little story. I mean...I don't like that idea because they were on the switch 1 and your updating them...when they've been out for awhile is just not right to me. Also making you pay if you want these upgraded versions? I mean I expected them to be free. And your going to have to either pay for them again or transfer your data. If you decide to get the game again you'll be paying 80-90 dollars as well if you're in America. Outrageous! Totk doesn't even deserve to be close to 60 dollars. 50 or 45 in my opinion if not less. 3. Manuals and game chat COST MONEY? Ehm...Nintendo Switch world tour is something that teaches you about the Switch 2. But why would you want to pay for something that teaches you about the console? Why would you want to pay for a manual at all? Shouldn't that be free? Playstation is free and game chat on the Playstation 5 is also free so why is greedy Nintendo making you pay for something we all know should be free? 4. Making you pay for other languages. So if you don't know Japanese that basically limits you. If you don't pay for the Japanese games or the Japanese style switch they are making you pay more. You might blame tariffs and...inflation. Look at the facts guys if it was that then WHY are they doing it to other countries as well? They are making you pay more for the English version of games or the French version or I don't know Spanish! You get the idea! The Nintendo switch costs less for the Japan version and so does the games! I think the Nintendo Switch 2 their costs 100 dollars or 80 less than here! WHICH IS SO UNFAIR! Like I am saying don't make your parents buy something that isn't worth it. 5. Tears of the Kingdom content shipped to Age of imprisonment. You can't tell me they didn't ship this content to another game. They did this to make you pay for another game. Tears was already unfinished. Tears should of been a DLC. Not a full on fledged game. It was already just a thin layer of frosting to Botw. AND no wonder it was never fully finished because they shipped it to another game to make your parents/you pay more. I feel so bad begging my parents for things that aren't worth it. I want the switch 2, but honestly guys it ain't worth it STICK with the Switch 1 for a couple months. If nobody buys the switch 2. Than there's a big chance that they may think it will flop like the Wii U and in return then lower the prices on the system and the game.
