[ neutral terms ] Castaway : A neutral term for loners that travel through Skytouch, and don't usually dwell there. Example: "Oh, look, it's a castaway! Generic, wanna go meet them?" Blunder-paws : A term usually used between friends, used to express exasperation over clumsy behavior around cats. It's a neutral connotation, but can be interpreted as in insult if spoken in an aggressive tone. Example: "Generic, you blunder-paws! Stop tripping over things or we'll have to rush you to the healers." Mooneyes : Someone who acts distant or gets caught daydreaming, usually used in a teasing or joking way. Example: "Generic, stop being a mooneyes!" Example teased. "Seriously, I thought you were asleep." Feathered fury : A nickname for a Direling, due to their aggressive behavior. It's a general term as well. Example: "Watch out! It's a feathered fury." May the ancestors guide you : A blessing, and a formal farewell. Said out of politeness and to wish someone well. Example: "May the ancestors guide you, Example." [ positive compliments ] Sunheart : A positive expression, often used to describe someone kind, honest and understanding. Example: "Ancestors, Generic is such a sunheart!" Ancestors bless you : One of the highest forms of praise. This is usually said after someone has done something incredibly kind or selfless. Example: "Oh, ancestors bless you Generic!" The diamond star : A way of calling someone a prodigy, without out calling them a prodigy. Generally, mentors call their trainees "stars" so being called "the diamond star" is a step up. Like being the top of your class. Example: "Oh, dear ancestors, Example's DEFINITELY the diamond star in my trainee group." Skytouched : Referring to someone being bless by the ancestors. This is the highest form of praise, and is rarely ever used due to it's cultural significance and the intensity of the words. The word must always be used with a capital letter. Example: "Generic... has been Skytouched." May light follow you : A positive farewell, generally used when saying goodbye to a family member, close friend, or someone else important in your life. It's not just a simple blessing of goodbye, it's a hope that you are loved and will stay safe always. Example: "May light follow you, Example." [ expression of love or affection ] Sun, moon and stars : An expression of love, very positive and uplifting. Example: "I swear, Generic, you're my sun, moon and stars." Made by the ancestors : A way of saying someone is cute or perfect. Implying that the ancestors themselves made them to be perfect. Example: "Ancestors above, Example is made by the ancestors!" Star-eyed : Another way of saying smitten, in love, crushing on, or any other ways you can think of saying in love. Example: "Do you think Example is... star-eyed?"
