COMMENTS FROM AUTHOR Hello! Tabby here! Here is Chapter One of my story, ‘The Girl in the Picture’. It’s my first time writing a story on this particular website, so sorry if it isn’t great! Comment to be on ping list! WHY ‘THE GIRL IN THE PICTURE?’ So basically, I was bored so I decided to draw a picture of something on Procreate, the art software I use. It was initially a girl in a cracked mirror, but I had no clue what that would look like so I decided on making it a framed portrait. I was about to share it, but then I had a brainwave: to write a book based off it. EXTRA NOTES If anyone is interested in drawing a title page please comment and I will consider using it as a front picture for an upcoming chapter :)
SYNOPSIS OF CHAPTER This chapter involves an introduction to Florida Clarke: a thirteen year old girl with a longing for adventure and something actually interesting, rather than the dreary day to day life on the Isle of Wight, UK. VAGUE SUMMARY OF ENTIRE STORY Flori is seriously bored. She is tired of being a normal girl with nothing interesting around her. But when a murder occurs almost next to her house, she figures that this was a perfect opportunity for an adventure - investigating a real murder!
