Every so often, someone will die. Most of the time, characters will realize that someone is dead after noticing that the motive is no longer in effect. However, sometimes the fact that someone is dead will not be immediately obvious, in which case I will likely have my own character find the body. In most cases, your characters will have to look for the body. All you have to do is have your character look in different locations and wait for me to confirm whether you’ve found it. The whole process is kinda lame and boring but don’t worry because the fun part is next. Investigations will take place after a body discovery announcement. To assist players, locations with evidence will be marked with a [!] in the project title. Interest points, which can be checked for evidence, will be formatted like this: “[INTEREST POINT: A knife lies in the sink.]” To investigate, simply reply with your character investigating, like this: “Red walked over to the sink and looked inside, taking immediate notice of the knife. Could this be the murder weapon?” Your reply can be as simple or as complex as you’d like, so don’t worry too much about it. Afterwards, I will reply to your reply with more information, like this: “[There are a few drops of water on the knife. It appears to have been cleaned recently.] [TRUTH BULLET ADDED: Knife]” Also, interest points can also be found when new locations open up. You get points for checking these, plus they can hint at lore. So if you see one, be sure to check it out! Anyway, if you don’t know Danganronpa, you probably don’t know what a Truth Bullet is. Truth Bullets are basically pieces of evidence, which will be listed in the Monopads. They are simply there to help you during the trial. They are METAPHORICAL bullets by the way they are not real please do not shoot anyone during the trial thank you Once all evidence is collected, the trial will begin. Now this is where things get complicated. Trials can get pretty chaotic, especially during earlier chapters when we have a bigger cast. So to prevent confusion, a few rules are in place. Note that some of these may be ignored in later chapters. After sending a message, please wait 5 minutes or 3 messages to respond again. Do not start any new threads. I will make a new thread after the current thread has hit its limit. Keep OOC comments to a minimum. Since there isn’t really a reasonable way to notify everyone whenever someone responds, you'll need to check the studio yourself every once in a while. Once you have the case figured out, I will post a closing argument detailing the murder. Your characters will then vote for the culprit. They will get a few minutes to process everything before the culprit is executed. After a short period in which your characters can react to… pretty much everything, the chapter will officially end.
