I actually have been in Generations before, one of the earlier characters! It was pretty fun, though it got a bitttt overwhelming, with how many people came here. (But, I'm willing to come back for this sweetheart here!) I adore stories, both writing and reading them! Seeing characters succeeding, failing, falling, and getting back up again is one of my greatest pleasures! I especially love the characters that have been through hard things, but still try to smile, even if the smile is just on the outside. Because, eventually, those characters usually begin to smile on the inside too. And that's what I plan to do with Weeping here! ✧ Weepingkit, the precious little baby! ✦ Weepingkit has always known who she was. She had known in the pit of her being, that she's a girl... but it took a lot longer for her to accept another part of herself. Eventually, Weeping came out, and told her family... that she liked she-cats. And only them. She would come out, later, as lesbian. ✧ At first glance, Weepingkit is undeserving of her name. To most cats in her life, Weeping shows nothing but a shy, yet reassuring smile, or a caring, yet worried frown. She will comfort and calm those who need her, without showing a hint of pain or sorrow. However, those that know her well, know that many of those smiles are simply a part of a mask, covering her own tears and anxiety. She cries most often when she's alone, and if you stay up late enough, you can hear cries of misery coming from the nursery. If you grow close enough to her, and peel back her layers, you will find an anxious, tired, and overwhelmed cat. One who is emotionally exhausted, and self-deprecating, and one who secretly... deep down... hates herself. This is due to being abandoned at a very young age (I assume, correct me if I'm wrong), and feeling unable to help her (older? younger? both?) siblings. As Weepingkit watched them suffer, she often found herself in the role of comforter. This meant that she couldn't be suffering herself... not really. If she wanted to focus on healing others, she had to ignore her own pain... at least, that's what she told herself. And she was pretty good at it. Weepingkit could pretty easily ignore her own pain, and she was, and still is, a naturally empathetic, kind cat, who understands others pain as if it were her own. In fact... she not only understands, but she tends to take it onto herself, feeling it as if it were her own. She's a sensitive, sweet cat who means the best for everyone... even to her own detriment. She worries constantly for others, and would sacrifice even her own life for those she cares for. As Weepingkit grows older, I see two paths her life could take. One, she keeps this up, and the pain eventually swallows her whole. Or... she eventually learns how to remain a healer and comforter of the soul... while taking care of herself and her own needs. (Overall personality: Positive: kind, sweet, gentle, Neutral: empathetic, selfless, shy, Negative: masks emotions, anxious, self-deprecating) ✦ This was actually really interesting to research! Feline eyes are really fascinating, they're pretty similar to human eyes, but they have an extra eyelid, also called a haw, that protects their eye from getting scratched by their fur or an attacker's claws! (Anyway, sorry, I got sidetracked) SO! There are a lot of different reasons that cats are born blind, cats can be born without their eyes (not sure if this is the case here), their cataracts could be born cloudy when they should be clear (probably what happened to Weeping), or something else could be wrong with the eye. Alright, that's the cat blindness, onto the common misconceptions! Top three most common misconceptions are 1. Blind people live in complete darkness. FALSE. There's a lot of different types of blindness, and most people see a brown or grey haze! Not sure if it's the same for cats tho... 2. Blind people have enhanced senses. FALSE. (Well, real for cats) Humans just have normal senses. And 3. Blind people are unable to live/work independently. FALSE. Blind people can do just fine on their own! Blind cats too! Yeah, it's not easy, but with the right tools, they can do anything! Let me know if I need more research, I could do more if you'd like! (More underneath the credits!)

Where were her siblings? They couldn't have vanished... could they? She felt around the small cave that was their home, and frowned. She felt small indents in the ground, someone had probably stomped off, and the moss piles that Quaking and Shivering were using as makeshift beds felt cold. Had they left her behind again? Well... that made sense. Weeping couldn't do anything right, after all. She could only listen to their cries of pain, and try to comfort them. All of a sudden, Weeping really did hear a cry of pain from outside. Having memorized the den and a short distance outside, Weeping quickly make her way to where the cry originated from, and heard a strange cat, whom she didn't know, hissing, and murmuring curses under their breath. Weeping frowned, feeling a little anxious and shy around the stranger, but those feelings dwarfed the feelings of concern and empathy surging forward. She took a small and tentative step forward, gently pawing at the cat, trying to get a general sense of what the cat might've looked like, and where the injury was. Surprisingly, the cat let Weeping do so, until she pawed over the front right paw. The cat yelped, quickly pulling back. Weeping nodded to herself. This cat was tall, much taller than either of her siblings, with a pretty strong build and a fluffy tail... she wondered what color their pelt was, but alas... she would never know. Weeping tried to look up into their eyes, but since she couldn't see where they were, she ended up looking at their ears. "A-Are you alright?" She asked quietly, hoping that she could help. ✧ Weeping loves the rain, rabbits, and willows. She goes by Weepingkit, Weeping, Weepy, and would accept just about any nickname you give her. (I tried my best to make it so that, while Weeping very much can't see, she can still get around, and has a pretty good sense of smell, touch, taste, and hearing. Let me know if everything's okay! [Oh! And, sorry I didn't draw anything, I've never been good at calico cats, as beautiful as they are, and I knew I wouldn't be able to do justice to Weeping's beautiful design!]) ✦ Is Weeping the youngest, middle, or oldest child? ✧
