A Vent I Need to Share (Please don’t scroll away. Please just... listen.) I don’t usually post vents. Not because I don’t feel deeply, but because I worry people might think it’s for attention. This one... this is different. This needs to be said. ⚠ Warning: If you are under the age of 11, I recommend you stop reading here. This gets really heavy. But it’s the truth. Recently, I’ve been researching animal cruelty and climate change. And what I’ve found—what I’ve seen—has absolutely shattered my heart. This vent is about animal cruelty. The images and videos I came across were terrifying. Bloody. Inhumane. I won’t share them here because I don’t want anyone else to go through that pain. But they’re real. They’re out there. And they haunt me. People—some people—are capable of things so vile it feels unreal. They rip body parts from animals while they’re still alive. They hang them up. They beat them. Electroshock them. Pluck birds’ feathers while they scream. Cut and experiment on them while they cry and struggle and suffer. Every time I see these things, I cry. Not just a few tears. I break. Imagine switching places. Imagine you were locked in a cage, unable to speak, unable to ask “why?” Imagine people experimented on you, cut you open, burned you, laughed at your pain. Wouldn’t you scream too? Wouldn’t you fight with everything you had? Animals aren’t just background characters in our lives. They feel. They love. They fear. They don’t deserve this. This isn’t me telling you “go vegan or else.” This is me begging us all to be more humane. We don’t have to torture innocent beings to survive. There are better ways. Kinder ways. We can still live. We can still thrive. But not at the cost of others' suffering. If you’re still here—thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Now, I have one request. Please. Share this. Remix it. Let others know. The world needs to hear it. People might say “you’re just a kid” or “you’re too young to make a change.” But I’m just a middle schooler, and I’m still trying. Because the world needs us. You don’t have to protest. You don’t have to scream. Just sharing this message could save lives. Just caring is already a powerful start. This Earth is a beautiful gift. And Allah (God) gave us this world with love. Let’s return that love—by protecting the voiceless. Thank you for reading. Please take care of each other. And if you can... be the difference.
