2021 was the year i first got into beanie boos, and i *personally* think it was when bootube was at its peak. right now, i sometimes binge a bunch of old beanie videos i watched when i was younger. unfortunately, many of my favorite bootubers have completely had their channel deIeted or wiped clean (intentionally or otherwise), examples including creators such as boo box tv, beauty boos, and ty toys forever. im not as upset about the creators that have simply quit and still kept their videos up, but its still sad to think about. for the longest, ive always wanted my own bootube channel, and i still havent been able to start one yet to this day. and now that the community is gradually losing both its members (or some of its members being AWFUL people) and its charm, i wont feel as excited to start a bootube channel once i finally get a yt at all. of course, there are still wonderful members of the beanie boo community that are still posting content, but it just felt a lot different for me from 2021 - 2022 than it does today. despite how much the community has changed (and d13d off), i will still try to stay active in it on scratch for as long as i am interested in beanie boos. i really dont mean to sound selfish when complaining about how many ex-bootubers have moved on past beanie boos, its their choice and i respect that. im just looking at it through the perspective of a viewer, as i have never gotten to be a part of bootube except for being the viewer that wasnt even allowed to further interact with any content on yt (liking, commenting, etc). thank you for listening to my rambling about stuffed toys.
