After falling in love with another goddess, the goddess married to the chief god, she was banished to a far-off island in the sea. No one except the twin sea gods could find her. They only times she got to talk to someone else is when one of the sea gods brought her supplies once a month. So, you could imagine her surprise and delight when a mortal washed up on her shores. Melody was so excited to show her new friend around the island and everything in it. It was also a plus that she thought the visitor was kinda cute... (story continued in Cherry's bio)

Every week they'd go into the city to buy supplies and, Charlie's favorite activity, gambling. One week Charlie accidently gambled away his wife (don't ask me how they did that, idk lol) So anyway, Charlie took their wife's pet rabbit, Rosco, and set off to rescue her. she tracked her wife through the city, down through the docks near the bay, then realized his wife had been taken on a ship. He rented out a little rowboat and sailed through the ocean. After three days Charlie got caught in a huge storm. The boat was destroyed but luckily Charlie and Rosco washed up on an island. Unluckily the island's only inhabitant was very chatty, Charlie was not. Melody couldn't escape the island, and neither could Charlie and Rosco. They ended up trapped there for years, and every minute they spent there, Charlie grew more worried about her wife. (maybe I'll finish writing the backstory, maybe not :P)
