Eclipse was surprised to hear this, she knew that Thicket left to help the other farmland cats but she had no idea that they knew him so well. “I’m sad to have to go from my home” Maple said suddenly which had Eclipse realize that in truth that was the same for her. “Yeah, me too.” She said quietly, but even more so, Maple lived with a group of farm cats not just one farm tom. Maple quickly changed the conversation. “These nests are dull.” She huffed, “After we finish work tomorrow, we should get some pine needles.” She suggested eyeing Eclipses nest, which was oddly smaller than Maples', even though they were about the same size. Just because my name is of the clestials doesn’t mean I’m different from her. Eclipse thought angrily then with a tint of guilt. But I I’m different, I’m supposed to be a monster, what would this innocent Molly think of me if she knew the truth? She eyed her hood quickly, and then when she saw Maple looking at her she decided she wanted an answer. “Oh! Er, yes, pine needles and maybe some feathers? How long do we work?” Maple turned fidgety, “dusk till dawn is what my dad said…” She mumbled, her voice turned to unreadable muttering at the end. “Oh, that– quite a while, what do we do?” Maple looked thoughtful, and her face quickly turned bright again. “Whatever the king and princes want us to do I guess?” She chuckled. “I don't even know what I’m doing!” This in fact, did not make Eclipse feel any better, but she at least knew she wasn’t the only one. Curling up into her nest she looked over at Maple, a worried look on her face tinted with sadness, a bit like she felt. “Goodnight, Maple,” Eclipse meowed.
