Hi... again...?

It's been a while, huh? ------------------------------ Hi again. I've missed you guys :) Believe it or not, my last posted project was 29 months ago. Yet I've still been watching the community, logging in once every two weeks to check my mailbox. It's crazy to think about, but in a few weeks, I'll have finished high school and I'll be going to college. I have one more set of exams to do, and then my schooling is over. I'll be an adult. Those are pretty scary things to think about. So I might need some more time before I fully come back. But I WILL come back. So, how have my ancient projects been doing? -------------------------------------------------------------- Last week, Rainbow-Algicosathlon turned 4 years old. In 4 years, it racked up 1,500 views and helped me meet hundreds of people on Scratch. Bluehexadecathlon, my collab series with Bulba_Bulbasaur, managed a few hundred views on its own, and had some of my favourite animations and episodes. We're both super inactive though. Roof Race is long gone. However I took that knowledge and won multiple other camps all over the internet, using the same strategies and planning. The community as a whole has moved on. Believe it or not, in the two years I was gone, I became a moderator in NS's server, helped 3^7 plan his videos, and a whole lot more. But around a year ago, I left the Algodoo community for good. I felt it was time to move on. But... it's time to come back. Scratch was the beginning of my programmer journey, not just my animator journey. I first opened Scratch over 11 years ago, on an account lost ages ago, and now here I am, a few months away from starting a degree in Computer Science. This website impacted my life more than I can say in words. And believe it or not, I'm planning on a whole lot more to do with this website. What's happening to UkSmasherBall? --------------------------------------------------- Expect some projects to be taken down and others to be brought back. I'll be removing a lot of the old cringe stuff as my profile takes a new look. I'm known around other places by "Toblobs" now, but I've decided to stick to this account (and name) for the memories, though the profile picture might finally change. Three things will be happening within the next few weeks, or months, hopefully all by the summer: 1. A project with a full run, from start to finish, of RA S1s episodes, shorts, and the Mini Algicosathlon (a S1.5). Think of it as my official signing off for the series. 2. A new software, inspired by Algodoo itself, with scripting capabilities, written for the community, by the community, to better simulate marble races in Scratch. This will also lend itself into a custom animation software I am writing for Scratch. 3. A release trailer for the multiplayer game I'm making off Scratch, called Structura. This is a strategy game which I've been working on since December 2023, and it's currently in beta testing. If you're at least 13 and you're interested, leave a comment here / on my profile. These might take time or not even happen, because I need to relearn Scratch entirely - but with the skills I've gained while I'm gone, hopefully that doesn't take too long. I really want to make sure my animations don't crash anyone else's computers :D What about your Algodoo projects? Future seasons? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I can't promise anything on that, sadly. However, me and a few friends do have some plans, that could lead to future Algodoo-style animations and projects... but I want to keep most of it a secret for now XD If all goes to plan, you'll start to see my activity go back up slowly over the summer again. I also really want to make one more RA episode to tie everything up, but that will most likely be part of the full-run project mentioned earlier.
