Art Process Thought Things: *I used Procreate cause it is amazing :D) Alright guys, so I have heard from several bird that this art looks too good to be true.... So here is for a step by step for how I drew this (It took me five hours guys like seriously) -----Link will be here soon----- So I think the big thing in this piece that made everything different was the way that I did the lighting for the fur. I did about five layers of shading, the first layer being really basic just getting the general shape, and then as the layers get more and more stacted it got more and more detailed for the drop shadows and other shading affects for the fur around the neck and the ears and hair. The lighting was a combination of using a soft sketching brush on procreate and using the blue tool to soften the edges, making it more of a shine instead of a light fur patch (also what makes it look so real too!!!!! like oh my goodness really!!!!) This was a huge changer and I was not expecting it to look that good! Genuanly was a learning part for me! But working with it on the chin and the white fur under the chin, just that extra shine is so cool! Guys, the lightning was the easiest part. Used a light purple, put the layer on ADD and then duplicated it, used Gaussia Blur and boom, you have glowy lightning. The really cool part was the text. What I did was I used the Add text tool then lowering that layer to about 50% opacity, I then put another layer over top of it, tracing over it adding in the scribble faunt and of course, the thunder clan symbol. I promise you my normal handwriting is not that neat and orderly. I genuinely love the way that it turned out! If you have any other questions about the process feel free to reach out! (I am not all that active but I will try to respond!!)
