(digital, paper, paint, etc.) 3A: so for making nice finished drawings? Digital bcuz it’s so much easier than traditional and you don’t have to worry about ink smudging and you have blending modes and stuff… HOWEVER I absolutely HATE sketching digitally… traditional art is so much better for sketching, it feels so much more real yk 4Q: What was your favorite cartoon as a child (or now) and how does / did it effect or inspire your art 4A: honestly cartoons didn’t really affect my (horrendous) art style much back then… I just drew fanart of powerpuff girls in whatever style I accumulated from the tutorials I watched lolol… didn’t really help me improve tho As of now I want to incorporate the “weirdness” of ENA into my style somehow idk. I also tried incorporating the styles of other manga I’ve read like tpn and sxf in like 2024 5Q: What is your favorite posted art piece? link it! 5A: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1151418580/ yeah there are some that may visually look better than this but honestly this was so fun to draw and I was finally getting out of that “jelly artstyle” I’ve been using. It was super fun to styilize and I like the lighting. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/938141036/ I also like this one bcuz it’s one of the best drawings I made IN THAT TIME yk, also I styilized it the tiniest bit but hey it’s better than nothing! 6Q: What is your LEAST favorite posted art piece? link it! 6A: I have multiple that I dislike for the same main reason… So I don’t like these bcuz I was kind of forcing myself to draw these and wasn’t really having fun yk… also the anatomy is super weird and THE TITLES ARE SO CRINGE WHAT also this bcuz the anatomy is weird and all wrong… wasn’t really paying attention when drawing this tbh. But I had fun ig 7Q: What’s the best piece of advice you have for baby artists? 7A: DO NOT **FORCE** YOURSELF TO DRAW EVERYDAY!!! Like if you draw everyday yes that’s fine good for you! But do not FORCE yourself to do that! It can lead to burnout and also if ur just drawing the same thing multiple times every day ur not really improving you’re just drawing??? I used to do this in like 2023 and like I was NOT improving at all bcuz of how similar the things I drew were… I had no art style whatsoever I was just drawing and not even for fun 8Q: How do you overcome art block? 8A: honestly just don’t force urself to draw. Or just draw one of those ideas that you have but never do I KNOW YOU HAVE THEM JUST DRAW THEM ALREADYYY 9Q: How long have you been an artist? 9A: since I was 8… so like almost 6 years 10Q: If your a digital artist, what software do you do art on? (ibis, kleki, photoshop, krita, etc.) 10A: When I first started out, I used Kleki but then moved to Krita! Then I got procreate and that’s what I use now! Also if ur wondering what I use for traditional, it’s just a white eraser, mechanical pencil, black pen (that’s slowly dying lmao), and mildliners! 11Q: Whos your fav scratch artist? 11A: ! I just listen to whatever I’m obsessed with at the moment, right now it’s like alien stage songs, sodikken, mitski, and stomach book 19: How do you handle mistakes in your art? 19A: so if it’s like a small mistake that I know how to fix then yeah I fix it but if it’s some,thing I’ve never dealt with before then I don’t. INSTEAD, I work to improve in that in future drawings. 20Q: If you could use only five supplies (traditional) for the rest of your life, what would they be? 20A: color pencil, micron pens, mechanical pencil, eraser, and gelly roll pen. 21Q: How often do you draw? 21A: I only make legit drawings like once in a week or two but I doodle pretty frequently… especially on school days lolol 22Q: How would you describe your style? 22A: cartoony anime-ish with dramatic lighting 23Q: Have you ever done an animation meme? If so which one? 23A: I have done that one kahoot one but I deleted it bcuz I only recolored it, didn’t actually draw… I’m working on a blood pop meme for Ena rn tho (UPDATE: I never finished it) 24Q: Have you ever painted? Were you good at it? 24A: yes but I wasn’t good at it… I only paint in art class and my art class absolutely sucks like we don’t learn anything… the only thing I learned from there (I’ve been there for 8 years btw) was how to cut cardboard with a cardboard knife 25Q: If you had to create a piece of art using only one color, which one would you choose? 25A: red! I recently started LOVING using red backgrounds for dramatic effect+lighting. 26Q: Are you able to do realism? 26A: I mean I’m able to but it ends up looking like the most uncanny valley thing you’ve ever seen. 27Q: What is the most challenging part of being an artist? 27A: I wanna become an artist when I grow up but they don’t really have a good salary so I’m not sure… also by the time I’ll be old enough ai would have already taken over and that makes me really sad. Like I actually wanna cry because of ai slop ALSO not so quick yapping session but did you guys know my teacher for a religious class let us use ai for the art part of the assignment??? Like what that’s messed up. I’ll try not to say anything else negative bcuz I don’t wanna get suspended... It absolutely astonished me by how many students used ai for that thing tho i felt so sad and hopeless and angry. And what is an animal that is impossible to draw? 28A: the only animals I’ve drawn are cats! Idk if dragons count but I absolutely CANNOT draw them 29Q: How many characters do you have? 29A: I used to have like 26 but I don’t use any of them… now I only have like 2 plus the ones I’m making lore for in my head 30Q: At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your art? 30A: I hope people will look at it and say “wow!
