Eh, i thought id take a break, but whatever I think I held it off to much fight scenes are easy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The arrow went straight through Alex. "Oh, did I forget to mention? I'm dead!" He said, a stupid smile on his face. "Great, you're easy to kill." Syd scowled and through her sword at him. Her sword, considering her powers, penetrated his shoulder. He winced, pulled the sword out and threw it back at her. "Nice try, sis." He sneered. He took out Riptide. I stared at the sword in awe. How did he get it? Alex ran at me and Syd parried his block with her sword. I flew up above him and tried another shot. I flew through him again and hit Sydney's foot. She didn't flinch. Then I realized her eyes were silver. She pushed him off and stared him down. "Join us." Alex whispered. Apparently, they had had a whole conversation. At this point, campers and our friends came out of their cabins and started getting their gear. "If I'm in charge, sure." She smiled evilly. What the Hades was going on? Mom had told me that Syd would change and leave, but I never believed it. Now seeing it in front of my eyes, I knew. I dropped down. "Syd, don't. Please." I pleaded. "You don't know why I'm doing this, do you?" She asked. She moved forward and I stepped back. "It's always been you." Syd continued. "Wh-what do you mean." I asked. "Every. Single. Time. 'Oh look! Brooklyn has saved another demigod!' 'Yay! Brook repaired the Big House!' But me? 'Sydney never helps.' 'She's just evil.' 'SHE. DOESN'T. BELONG.'" Her hand lit up with her powers. "They were right. I don't belong!" She laughed without humor. "So I'll go. I'll go somewhere I belong. The darkness. Always in the shadow of light. The shadow of YOU." She blasted me. I flew backwards but regained my balance. I shot an arrow encased in light at her. She swatted it away like a mosquito. "And you can have these." She tossed her pendant and necklace, the one with the stone, at me. I caught it in mid air. "Sydney, as you brother, I could never be more proud of you." He put his hands over his chest. I shot another arrow at her. It went through her gut. She stumbled backwards. "Do what you want," I said, fighting back tears of sadness, rage, and pain. "But I'm always waiting for you to come back, Sydney." Then she disappeared. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I sat in my cabin, running my hands on Sydney's necklace. It's been 2 days and I missed her. A tear fell from my eye and onto my cheek. Jake came in and sat on my bed. I leaned on his shoulder and he stroked my hair. "She'll be alright. But we should focus on saving our parents right now." Jake kissed my forehead. "What?" He pointed to my necklace. The stone glowed. I got to my feet and grabbed my quiver and Syd's pendant and necklace, ripping mine of my neck. "Get the others. Tell them to meet me at the Big House." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
