I'm @-TrueGryffindor89-, and I'm applying for Kiwikit! I love her design (and I love kiwis), so I'm excited to apply for her !! :] ❝ Party's in a minute, but your guys won't go ❞ ii. Personality [+] Determined, Confident, Hardworking [=] Ambitious, Stubborn [-] Reckless, Haughty, Jealous [+] Despite hinderances created by Manx Syndrome (see research), Kiwi is hardworking and sure of herself. She pushes herself beyond her clanmates to become the best apprentice and warrior that she can be, and is always going beyond what needs to be done. She believes in her own abilities and is determined to keep up with her siblings. [=] Kiwi wants to be deputy someday, part of the reason she works so hard. When she decides she wants to do something, she can't be dissuaded, no matter how impossible or daunting the task seems to be. No one can change her mind once it's made up. [-] Kiwi often vaults herself into tasks she isn't ready for, leading to injury of herself or others. She has a little too much self-confidence and considers herself better than some of her clanmates just because she works harder than them. If someone outcompetes her or gets things that she wants, she is quick to become jealous and bitter toward them, even if they're a cat she considers her friend. ❝ You took on, you took on too much, don't blow ❞ iii. Future Gender + Pronouns Kiwi will identify loosely as a demigirl. She doesn't feel fully female, but she also doesn't particularly care about gender one way or another, so she's never very vocal about her identity. She will use she/they pronouns but respond to any, as she really doesn't care. ❝ Storm my winter palace, but they couldn't take it ❞ iv. Future Sexuality Kiwikit will identify as a lesbian, interested only in nonbinary and female-identifying cats. She will also be on the asexual spectrum, finding that she likes romance but never wants anything more than that and doesn't want kits. ❝ Everybody's itching for a throne to throw ❞ v. Have I Had a Gens Character Before? Nope! This would be my first. I've applied for one other kit, but didn't win it. I'm hoping I'll have better luck with this one! ❝ Do you forget, forget the basics? ❞ vi. Research [ tailless ] Taillessness is the result of a random genetic mutation. It can lead to cats having a stump, a very short tail, or (in Kiwikit's case) no tail at all. Taillessness most commonly occurs in Manx cats, but it can occur in any breed. While taillessness can be harmless, it can also cause Manx Syndrome, which has many harmful effects. Manx Syndrome can cause spinal issues, weakness or paralysis in the hind legs, arthritis, digestive issues, and an increased risk of infection. It can also make walking, jumping, and grooming difficult. Kiwikit will experience moderate Manx Syndrome, meaning she will have some issues jumping and walking and be at an increased risk of infection, but will not experience paralysis or digestive issues and will be capable of living to an old age.
