Chapter 5 After my discovery of my new form, I was able to track down a pond of fish and catch nearly all of them. As I wonder how I'm going to cook them I feel a tingle run through my body. I am now standing on two feet and human again. It seems when I need the skills of a creature I am able to shift into that creature. I prepare a fire and begin cooking the fish hoping that with a couple more days I can be free of this prison. Once I've saved the fish I'm not going to eat now I start in the direction that seems to be correct. With only my thoughts to occupy me I think of what could be happening to the kingdom now, I hope it has continued on as normal but I can only hope. I round a corner and continue down the corridor where about halfway through the texture underneath my shoes changes. I look down and there is wood I look around and see a wood door. Knowing what happened the last time I opened a door, I slowly open it and inside is a glowing blue light. I approach it and see that small white wings are attached to it, in a small voice it says, "Hello, are you here to free me? I would greatly appreciate it if so." I study it hoping something like last time doesn't happen. "I don't want to harm you," it says, "I just want to be freed from this room but only a warrior of true heart can free me." I watch as it flies around me seeming to be studying me. "You seem just and loyal, and seeing as you haven't spoken you are determined to never break your vow of silence. You are who I've been waiting for, if you would help me I can reward you greatly." I think about it and decide I could fend off the little spirit creature if it comes down to that. I nod signaling that I will help, "Oh yay! Thank you noble warrior, you won't regret it." The light tells me its name is Navi, and starts instructing me on how to help. After it steps me through the ritual of sorts I can't tell anything different but something about it seems to have changed. The blue glow is brighter and happier "Joy! I am full of it! Thank you, now for your reward. I can guide you through this place but only for a while. The old magic that this cave is made of drains me." I walk out of the room and it follows chattering on and on about how long its been since being free. As I walk and it flies alongside me I start to turn down a corridor when it stops me, "Not that one there are monsters all over that hall. Take the other one." I figure to follow its advice and turn down the other. As we continue through this place it eventually rests on my shoulder and I figure it has exhausted itself. I continue on thinking about how much more this maze has to hide, and if I am ready or not to face it.
Enjoy! This is my new favorite chapter of the fanfic, sorry for the wait it took forever to decide what was going to happen. Chapter Four: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1149145863/
