I love drawing this guy so much his design is so unique. I changed a few minor details in the design and took a lot of inspiration from 1. STARS - this guy is inspired by old astrology drawings (things like moon cycles and diagrams), esp from old islamic world if you want to find more refs for aesthetic! - the moon cycle goes all along their face, the new moon on the top, quarters on each cheek, and the full moon down the snout (treating the dark markings as shadows) - weeeird wobly bridge of snout...
