Here is a small story that I wrote for this drawing: I stood in front of the huge airport windows, just staring. My flight had taken off without me. I was supposed to be on that plane, but now it was just a small dot in the sky, getting farther and farther away. I ran through the airport as fast as I could, but the gate was already closed when I got there. The lady behind the desk just shook her head and said, “I’m sorry, the doors are already locked.” Now, all I could do was watch. The plane looked kind of peaceful, flying up into the clouds like it didn’t even care someone was supposed to be on it but wasn’t. That someone was me.
