As the Oka-Meridian Shipping Crisis has been surfacing the news over the past weeks, many are left wondering as to why the seemingly innocent shipping vessels have sunk. The primary speculation raised during the research and recovery is that this was a recurring weather anomaly that occurred during the time the ships were sailing which was backed up by weather detectors picking up brief flash rainstorms during this period however this theory has several holes including the abnormally shaped wrecks having large ruptures in their parts of their hulls and rescued witnesses testifying irregular sounds coming from within - something a stormy sea could not produce - causing others to speculate the shipwrecks were deliberately done by a malevolent party. The Javonesian Navy has begun upscaling the frequency and size of its coastal patrolling, setting up sensor buoys and arrays along its many reefs and sending littoral ships in deeper waters, in hopes of mitigating the risk of more occurrences such as this. It is also aiding in deep-sea retrieval missions and developing its weather stations to narrow down the root of the cause.
Cool stuff ig
