In Lesson 3, the students use the arrow keys to move the brave Sir Duke through the treacherous mazes of the Evil Wizard's Murray's dungeon. If you touch the wall's or Murray you will be sent back.
This is Lesson 3 of the KnightQuest series class where students use their programming skills to help our hero save the princess. The hero will say what he needs and the kids will get a chance to make it in Scratch. For Example: When Sir Duke hits the door he says "Locked! If only I knew a programmer" The kids are asked what we could do, and we get a key sprite that I made that has a bug in the code. They fix it and Sir Duke gets through the door. However, Murray, the evil Wizard is waiting in the next room and zaps Sir Duke with a fireball spell. Sir Duke thinks "If only I had a shield before he is vaporized and the game is over" The kids make their own shield, and copy code from the key sprite to make the shield work. Once he has the shield, Sir Duke can enter the room safely. The Wizard's spell bounces off of him and vaporizes Murray instead. The princess then runs to Sir Duke and we get our happy ending with Sir Duke saying a thank you to programmer who helped him.
