**Click the project to see screenshots** My next game, Super Mario Bros. X for Scratch, is finally almost finished and is planned to release in late April. I thought I can give more details here to explain the game more. As I posted on the countdown, I worked on this game with the goal of improving the 2D Adventure engine. So, I thought of recreating some levels from different level packs (called 'episodes') would be a good experiment. The editor in SMBX 2.0 has a great feature that allows you to convert a level section into a picture map. This gave me the ability to have entire levels made without redrawing any tiles. All I had to do was split the sections, add the collision and the interactive elements. This allowed levels to have multiple animated background tiles, but it was still a very tedious process. The recreated levels I mostly one-to-one as in their original episodes, but I did take some liberties to improve them (levels 7 and 8 have some original ideas). It was fun too adding all of the game's quirks and details that make it special. However, due to my busy schedule and getting sick, I could not get it done by March. I sitll have a lot to finish. I have to add the HUD, boss, hub, and the title screen. So, again, thanks for your patience and hope you enjoy the game when it's done.
