Just info on what illness 5 has This rlly isent that important to the lore but it’s cool so here. the lotus contamination fungus, or LCF, is a very rare illness that is plant derived and has a %0.00000006 percent chance of infecting someone. (I did the math) It is derived from the heart, and how it works, is that it is fungus transmitted through the air that most people are uneffected by, but someone with LCF has a extra weak faulty cell in their heart that doesn’t do much, but that the LCF can latch on to. If you have heard of zombie ants- aka ants that are controlled by fungus spores, it’s similar to that. The spores spread into the heart- transmitting itself through the cells- keeping the heart alive- but basciccly clinging into it- slowly spreading through the rest of the body through its veins. This can cause people with LCF to have intense bloodlvst, because their body thinks they don’t have enough blood- when in fact they do, it’s just infected via the veins, and all clotted up. It creeps through the body silently, clinging itself as cells so it goes undetected. For this reason, there is no known cure, because you can’t really just eliminate cells. It gets worse through time, as the spores reach further and further, and it gets more and more intense. The LCF itself isent what’s doing the power stuff, but it feeds off of emotions. So, as a strong, usually negitive emotions exist, the adrenaline goes up and so does the blood pressure, meaning the LCF pressure goes up to. This can cause it to create scenes of body horror and burst itself out of the holders skin, with tentacle like things from their face and back. This can be very painful for the host, as you can imagine, which can give them lots of blisters and scars on their backs and face The lotus fungi slowly feed of the holders cells and blood, untill the holder dies. Only 5 people in history have contracted this dieases- #1 in acheint times who was revered as a god before dying due to the LCF, #2 in the Salem times who was burned for being “a witch” #3 in 1700’s, who died as they contracted it as an infant, and in the 80’s, who was quickly shot and killed by the government. This made the government look very bad for killed what looked like an innocent kid, so when the fifth one, showed the symptoms, they set up a new system by putting him in a containment facility, not hurting him, to be “humaine,” but derived him from all his senses, like a kind of mental torture- wich- the pent-up ness only made the LCF so much worse- so now 5’s is unatrually aggressive and unprediactble, bc of the docters fatal mistake in keeping him contained It is predicted that LCF patients are conscious while they are lashing out, but helpless to do anything- like the human’s animal insitincts has taken over. Most LCF holders don’t live past the age of 20 to 40 and most gain it at the age of 3-10 It also tend to affect more males then females Don’t worry tho guys, 5 doesn’t die at 40- he lives for longer.
