This was originally posted around March of 2024 I think In case you’re wondering, dysgraphia is a neurological disorder that’s kind of similar to dyslexia, but it makes it to where it’s hard for the person with dysgraphia to write. Growing up during elementary school I actually had to get pulled out of class for special writing classes in OT, and they didn’t know I had ADHD at the time, and they also didn’t know I had dysgraphia, they only knew I was autistic, and the special teacher was really rude to me based on what I remember. But now I have an IEP and I write on a computer in class instead
> I know it’s hard to read, so here’s a transcript: This is written by a person with dysgraphia. That means I have trouble writing. When I write, I mix up letters and spacing, and sometimes I have really weird misspelling even when I already know how to spell the word. Despite this, I can read over a college level and I can also type perfectly fine. I always get embarrassed when people want a signature, because everybody writes so pretty and mine is ugly. I also get bad hand cramps when I write and my hand hurts right now lol. Funnily enough, I’m good at drawing, but this is how I write every day.
