Firstly, I'm gonna start this off by stating I am not a manager, so I don't really have much of a say in any of this. But I'm still gonna comment on this anyways, since, as Glass and Maci said, this is a team effort. It's not just the managers that have to deal with all of this, they're a small group of teenagers. So why can't someone outside that small group say something? Anyways, back to the point. Over the past few days, I, and a lot of other people, have noticed an increase in comments mentioning 'self-destructive' behaviour. I completely understand why; people need help and a place to vent, and GWDFI is primarily that place. However, there's another very important point: this is Scratch, a site for children. I understand, you need help and support, but GWDFI is definitely not the place for this. Lately, not only have there been more of these comments, but there has been an increase in how direct and detailed these comments are getting. They're starting to become more and more triggering to the average GWDFIer, especially younger children (Scratch is made for people as young as 8 and I have seen and talked to people as young as 10 on GWDFI). As I said, I understand, you need help. But the amount of detail people are going into is becoming extremely shocking and unnecessary, especially since there isn't even a trigger warning or anything. This is genuinely appaling and unacceptable. There is no reason why anyone should be going this far. I've said this many times but we understand you need help. But please just call a hotline and maybe ask for positivity and comfort instead of mentioning this specific detail. This isn't great, but thank you so much for your time.
